As such, you will be asked to locate, read, and write a brief reflection on popular media articles related to educational policy. Depth of Reflection and Evidence of a Personal Perspective: Provides deep and rich connections, insights and analyses. Reveals evidence of a personal perspective within the reflection.
Connections Between Personal Reflection and Application to Future Practices: One or more connections made between personal reflection and application to future practices with specific supporting details and/or examples.
Points of Agreement and/or Disagreement: Delineates clear and precise points of personal agreement and/or disagreement and supports with specific details and/or examples
Writing Convention: Paper reflects an excellent command of writing mechanics and conventions.

Answer these Three questions:
1. In Chapter 5, Fowler talks about values and ideology. One of her discussion points is about the democratic value of equality. Using Figure 5.4 on page 98 of your book, give a brief response to how you think SEL policies impact one of the groups listed (racial minorities, women, low SES, etc.).
