Please explain how Heidegger’s “Question Concerning Technology” answers the question posed in his essay, “What calls for Thinking?” (Never mind that the former was written roughly two decades before the latter.) Please be sure to distinguish between technology per se and the essence of technology, and also be sure to show what the essence of technology has to do with our inability to think.
Once you’ve established this ground, please enumerate some of the ways in which Agamben’s book on “The Coming Community” responds to Heidegger’s two essays.
Finally, discuss some of the ways in which one or more of the other course readings intertextually engage with the Heidegger essays and, if you like, with Agamben.
